The Terra Nova Animal Care Club has teamed up with the amazing team @CrossroadsAnimalShelter and Clinic for an adventure in animal care! 🐾 Our students dove paws-first into the world of animal behavior and handling, learning from the pros who work with all sorts of critters—big, small, and a little wild! They also discovered the super cool TNR program (Trap, Neuter, and Release) that helps control feral animal populations. It’s like being animal superheroes, but without the capes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Now, the Animal Care Club is rolling up their sleeves (and often covered in fur) to help care for sheltered animals. From cleaning and feeding to hanging out with the animals doing enrichment activities (they’re like "animal happiness coaches"), our students are improving the chances of these adorable creatures finding forever homes. And the best part? They get to go behind the scenes and assist in the surgery center, gaining hands-on experience in a real-life veterinary setting. 🐱🐶✨ We’re beyond grateful for this pawsome opportunity, and our kids can’t wait for the next outing!
