Our 4th Legacy Expedition to Seahorse Key provided new and amazing experiences for Terra Nova students. This Out of the Classroom experience gave students an insider view of what it's like being a wildlife biologist along the Gulf Coast of Florida. The group will be working on a presentation this week. More OTCF highlights from Precision Tool. Students learned how they make products that save lives and took a sneak peek behind the scenes of the first responders. Students also learned about the importance of quality checking and having a "zero fault" expectancy for their "life saving" products. Students saw various parts that mounted cameras on space satellites, valves that were used in safety boats and by Navy Seals, safety releases for police officers and other military uses. It was a very cool and very engaging OTCF experience. #otcf #terranovamn #precisiontool

Terra Nova students at Seahorse Key went seining this afternoon. Seining is using a long weighted bottom net in shallow water to collect aquatic organisms. Aka using a net to catch water creatures.
