Maria's favorite hobbies are yoga, jogging, spoken word poetry, and theater. She's excited about sharing all of these interests with our community:
“One of my favorite hobbies is yoga. I'm excited to learn about what students are interested in as well!”
Maria is looking forward to, “Getting outside, going into the world with you, and learning alongside you.”
Maria also wants to share, “I graduated from Whittier College with a BA in English and Theater, then got my MS in Educational Administration. I have also done postgraduate work in Human Development, with an emphasis in Early Childhood, and I am currently studying Ecopsychology.”

Yesterday, Terra Nova celebrated our first full year in Buffalo and the beginning of our tenth school year. We are grateful to the Monticello, Delano, and Buffalo Chambers of Commerce for celebrating alongside our students and staff yesterday. We'll soon share our festive ribbon-cutting ceremony video, graciously captured by the Monticello Chamber. Thank you to the students, staff, and community members who gathered the commemorative milestones that encircle the oak seedling we planted yesterday. The symbolic planting of an oak tree represents our commitment to growth and deepening community roots.
