School is right around the corner and staff are busy getting ready for the new school year! Check out your email for messages from advisors. We can’t wait to see you all in September!
NWEA testing will be occurring in the second week of school, September 9-11th. Students should get good sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and try their best!
If you do not want your student to participate in MCA testing this year, please fill out the MCA Opt Out Form and return to registrar@terranovamn.org.
Terra Nova partners with the Office of Higher Education to participate in Direct Admissions for our seniors. This is a wonderful opportunity, but if you want to opt-out, the email will be coming soon.
Military recruiters are beginning to request student lists for 11th and 12th grade students. If you want your student out of this list, please complete the opt-out form and return to registrar@terranovamn.org
Students will be filling out “get to know me” sheets and pictures will be taken of all new students. Last year’s yearbook photos will be used for returning students, unless they bring their own 2.5x3” photo.
UPCOMING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Our first Out of the Classroom experience is at Schroeder Park- students should pack cold lunches, bring sunscreen and bug spray, dress for the weather, and carry a water bottle!

TREX (plastic film) UPDATE:
We are currently at 226 pounds of Trex/plastic film collected, moving toward our goal of 1000 pounds. That’s 226 pounds of plastic film we’ve kept out of the landfill and should be celebrated! Let's keep the momentum going as we head into the final stretch of our collection period, which ends in October. Please continue bringing in plastic film donations and reach out to others to help us reach our goal!
